Our Staff

Fiona Pattinson, Team Leader

Qualifications: Diploma of Children’s Services.I am originally from Scotland, and moved to Australia nearly 19 years ago. After a few weeks of arriving In Albury, I gained employment at a private long day care centre, working in the baby’s room and junior pre-school as the room leader, over a 10 year period. I then decided to gain my TAE “Certificate IV in Training and Assessment”, to gain more knowledge and understanding of training and delivery, in early childhood.

In 2007 I started work at Wodonga TAFE  were I was a teacher for Certificate III and Diploma of Children Services, and started up the first Nature Playgroup in this area, for community , families and students.
My Passion is being outdoors in Nature with children, letting them explore, investigate and to let them just Be…
Already at playgroup, we have had some fun, with going to many different places, nature walks in Jindera, Going up Nail Can Hill , Gerogery at a farm, building a fire, learning about fire safety  and cooking bread, but we have so much more to come, Family Day Care week, The Biggest Morning Tea, to name a few.  I believe that community is so important, for children and families to get that sense of belonging.
